Alongside her clinical work, Dr Melisa has a strong academic and research background. She has published in peer-reviewed scientific journals, presented her Doctorate research internationally, and received multiple awards for her scientific poster presentations at prestigious conferences. She is also passionate about education, having previously taught undergraduate dental students as an Honorary Clinical Lecturer and delivered lectures on the Orthodontic Therapy course at Bristol Dental Hospital.
