Dr Neha Thakerar is a friendly and caring professional who prides herself on making patients feel relaxed and calm when under her care
Dr Neha provides oral surgery and dental emergency work at West House Dental.
Following her graduation from Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry, Dr Neha has actively pursued professional development within her career and strives to provide the best treatment she can for her patients.
She has a wide range of surgical experience and extensive knowledge of complex head and neck anatomy.
Dr Neha has also pursued further training in hospitals around the UK within Oral Surgery, Oral Medicine and Maxillofacial Surgery units.
Alongside West House Dental, Dr Neha also works in the Maxillofacial department at Great Ormond Street Hospital, and is therefore extremely familiar with treating children, as well as the most anxious of patients.

Previous Experience
After qualifying with her BDS degree in 2017, Dr Neha went on to complete her Foundation Training year within the highly sought-after North Central London Deanery.
In 2018 Dr Neha pursued further training at the dental teaching hospital in Cardiff, within Oral Surgery and Oral Medicine, treating patients needing complex care as well as supervising undergraduate dental students.
Dr Neha also worked in the Community Dental Service, treating patients in the most deprived areas of Wales who were unable to be treated in general practice.
In 2019 Neha worked in the Maxillofacial unit of regional major trauma centre Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge.
At Addenbrooke’s Hospital she was trained to carry out various head and neck surgeries on patients under local and general anaesthetic, and was responsible for attending to Maxillofacial emergencies.
Qualifications
Dr Neha obtained her Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) in 2017 from Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry.
In 2018 Dr Neha passed the Diploma of Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery at The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow (MFDS RCPSG).
